(Stage-play and screen adaptation, upon request) Synopsis This is the story of the redemption of a radical, free spirit who history has all but forgotten. The play revolves around the death bed of Susan B. Anthony as she is “visited” by her former younger rival, Victoria Woodhull. The play opens in 1906 and proceeds to flashback to 1871 where we see Victoria fighting for sexual equality, free love, and birth control, to be included on the platform of the Suffrage Movement. But when Victoria is thrown out of that Movement, she did what no one had dreamed she would ever do … she ran for President.
